GOD IS LOVE, POWER, AND SPLENDOR—AND GOD IS A MYSTERY. HIS WAYS ARE FAR BEYOND US, BUT HE STILL REACHES OUT TO US. GOD IS INFINITE YET INTIMATE, THREE YET ONE, ALL-KNOWING YET ALL-FORGIVING. WE WILL SPEND ETERNITY CHERISHING AN EVER-DEEPENING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THE FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT.

A Broken Beauty

FROM NEURONS TO NEBULAE, DNA TO DISTANT GALAXIES, WE ARE SURROUNDED BY WONDER. YET THE BEAUTY IS BROKEN. Genesis tells us that a loving God split light from darkness and land from water, setting life in motion and sculpting the first human from clay. Genesis describes God’s joy and satisfaction in His work, again and again delighting that each new feature is “good.” Earth flourished in perfect harmony, cared for by humanity.

  1. Worship-We genuinely expect life to change when we gather for worship-that leads to a changed life for the rest of the week. 

  2. Acceptance-We welcome one another no matter how different we are becasue the church would be pretty boring if we were all the same. 

  3. Relationships-We marvel at how God desires to be in relationship with us, and believe our faith if further formed by being in relationship with one another. 

  4. Family-We take great pride in our diverse church family that grows happier and healthier when we authentically reveal the kindness of God to one another. 

  5. Serve-We give God all we have and in return God gives us more than we expect, so we can serve like Christ and bring life to others.
